Making sport psychology appreciated in this country.

Sports psychologists have a very tough time when introducing themselves especially to the children. This occupation is one of the newest ones in this country and therefore not many people will be aware of such an activity. Whenever one wants to introduce themselves, especially when they are targeting a certain group, its always good to start by explaining what is sports psychology and its importance in the group you are targeting. This will prevent the many doubts the trainees may be having in the process of working with you. Once they realize that sports psychology will actually benefit them, they will be so eager to work with you. Its not just our children who are not aware of our existence in this country. Even the youths especially those who have taken sports as their occupations. They need to know of these services that will enable them perform better and even earn them future promotions. It may take long to gain appreciation countrywide but the length of time will depend on the efforts we will make to make this occupation known to many.
